Obituary for Devin John Farmer

Devin John Farmer’s journey began on January 4, 2006 to the loving parentage of Clifford Farmer, Jr. and Brenda Eyers Farmer. At a very young age, Devin’s young life was faced with the possibilities of him not ever walking, or being able to speak. Through God’s grace and Devin’s strong will to conquer anything set before him, he overcame many health emergencies and challenges. With many of those challenges defeated, he prospered into a loving and caring young man.

Devin truly made a difference in the lives of everyone he met. He always had a smile, a joke and a hug for everyone. Devin was currently a seventh grade student at the Wrens Middle School in Wrens, GA where he was truly loved by his teachers and classmates. His love of fishing began at an early age. In a short time span, he became he an avid fisherman. Devin’s dream in life was to become a Pro Bass Fisherman.

Devin’s journey was shared with his wonderful and loving parents, Clifford, Jr. (Brenda) Farmer of Wrens, GA; five loving siblings: three sisters, Danita Farmer of Camden, SC, Shemariah Farmer of Graniteville, GA and Janie Farmer of Wrens, GA; two brothers, Clifford Clarence (Tanesha) Farmer of Columbia, SC and Clifford Farmer III of Wrens, GA; five nephews, Jonathan Farmer, Benjamin Hart, both of Camden, SC, Kaleb Farmer, Carter Farmer and Cameron Farmer, all of Columbia, SC; a maternal grandmother, Earline Eyers of Canyonville, OR; a great-aunt, Iola Hanscom of Grants Pass, OR; three aunts, Sandra (Gary) Benjamin, Loretta (Sylvester) Lane, both of Wrens, GA and Kathleen Eyers of Roseburg, OR; two uncles, Harold, Sr. (Betty) Farmer of Wrens, GA and Jerry (Dianna) Eyers of Brandenton, FL. His memory will always be cherished by his many cousins, other relatives and friends.

On December 27th, 2018, our beloved Devin John Farmer life’s journey ended when our God Almighty called his sweet “Angel” home. Although, his paternal grandparents, Clifford, Sr. (Sara) Farmer; maternal grandfather, John Eyers; aunt, Sylvia Yancey completed their journey before Devin, they welcomed him home with loving arms.
